Know Tualchang
Tualchang is a row of stone slabs situated near Tualchang village in the eastern part of Aizawl district, in Mizoram. The largest of the rocks found here is 3 m wide 1 m thick and 4.5 m high. Tualchang is the biggest monolith in Mizoram India.
Journey to the Tualchang
One you reach Aizawl you can take a bus or taxi to the Tualchang sight, situated in the eastern part of Mizoram India. Airport : Nearest airport is Aizawl. Aizawl is connected to Kolkata and Imphal by air. Indian Airlines connects Aizawl to rest of India via Guwahati, Imphal, Kolkata.
Railhead : Nearest railhead is Silchar which is in Assam ( 184 km away). From Guwahati, travel to Silchar by Barak Valley Express, Cachar Express or the Tripura Passenger.
Road Transport : NH - 54 connects Aizawl with the rest of the country through Silchar. Buses and taxis are available from Silchar to Aizawl. Night services are also available. Aizawl can also be approached by road from Shillong and Guwahati.
