Detailed Itinerary As you land at the 'Gateway to the North-East region' Guwahati on the 1st day , our representative will be there to give you the warm welcome at the airport, then drive to the hotel which is booked for you in advanced Your overnight stay will be at the hotel. Next morning (2nd day) after the breakfast visit the famous Kamakhya temple. After offering prayers at the temple, in the afternoon drive on to the Cheerapunji (the heaven in India), which receives the highest rainfall in the country. Take the halt for lunch around the majestic Umiam Lake. Stroll around the Nohkalikai waterfall the wettest place on Planet Earth. Beautiful scenery of this fourth tallest waterfall is breathtaking.

On the 3rd day explore the Krem Mawmluh cave which is located about half a kilometer west of Charrapunji, adjacent to the small hemlet of Mawmluh. This cave has five river passages of impressive propositions. Overnight stay at cherrapunji. Next day (4th day )wake up early in the morning and get ready to take the walk to the Double decker living route bridge, a feat of bio- engineering wonder, located at Tyrna village near Laitkynsew. On 5th and 6th day you will stay in Shillong, and discover the gorgeous Elephanta falls and Shillong peak. On 7th day you will reach the famous Kaziranga Park. Take the thrilling jeep/elephant ride to explore the park. You can also indulge in tiger spotting, birding, photo safari, trekking and nature walk in and around the park. On the 8th day of the tour indulge yourself in photo safai and spend time at leisure.
After spending two entertaining days in the Kaziranga National Park, on the 9th day you will reach Kohima. Morning after breakfast proceed to witness the opening ceremony of the Hornbill festival- a single platform to witness the dance performed by the various tribes from all parts of Nagaland. On the 10th day you can enjoy the fashion show, beauty contest and other cultural celebrations in a five day festival. Also visit popular 'The State Museum', located at Bayani hill kohima.Dinner and overnight will be at Touphema Tourist village (41 km from Kohima). Next (11th day) on your tour comes the amazing Dziikuo valley which is the best trekking spots in North east. This is also the ideal place for picnic and camping. Overnight in rest houses/caves/tents.

On the 12th day you will again proceed to the Hornbill festival and for the rest of the day you will be busy in taking the nature walk around Dziikuo valley. So here comes the next destination of your tour on the 13th day- the picturesque village called Khonoma. Spend one whole day in witnessing the unending scenic beauty of this village and return to Kohima for overnight stay. Today on the 14th day, we carry on by road to Johrat- the gateway to the upper Assam and famous for the tea industry. Enjoy the celebrations of the tea festival in Johrat. After lunch take a walk to the nearby villages and know about their lifestyle ans culture.

In the morning on the 15th day visit the nearby tea gardens of Tezpur. By the evening we reach Dirang and check out in the hotel. On the 16 th day you will be transferred to Buddhist Monasteries, Tribal village, Sela pass. 'Gompa' (Buddhist Monastery) at Bomdilla is worth visiting. Drive onto centuries old Dirang Basti a 'Dirang Monpa' tribal village.Camping at Sela pass (13703ft). On day 17th day after breakfast start trekking with packed lunch. Arrive at Chabrilla camp. Overnight stay in tents. On the next day (18th day start trekking to the for Nurarang and after lunch leave for Tawang; the blessed land of Monpas. Overnight at Tawang.
19th day of the tour will bring your visit to other important places such as 350years old Buddhist monastery, locally known as Gompa, nunneries like Ani Gompa and Urgelling Monastery. In the evening enjoy ethnic Monpa tribal dances and dances by Lamas. Overnight at Tawang. After the full day sightseeing (waterfalls) in Tawang move onto Dirang for the overnight stay. We will be spending one more day (20th day) at this place. Today we will venture in the local areas and learn about their culture and lifestyle. Day 21st will give you the amazing opportunity to trek in the Shanti valley. Night will be spent in the camps in the hills. Again on the next day (22nd day)you will be engaged in trekking and exploring the the wilds (esp. Rare Black Necked Cranes Wintering at Sangti). After the long day adventure stay in Dirang. On 23rd morning drive onto Bhalukpung with packed breakfast. After lunch we raft down Jia Bhoreli river to Nameri national Park. Overnight at Nameri National Park. Enjoy one full day (day 24) in the Park spotting tigers, taking elephant rides and camping. Return to Guwahati in the evening. On the 25th day engage yourself in River cruising in the Brahmaputra river. Day 26th will be reserved for sightseeing in and around Guwahati. Our representative will leave you at the airport for departure on the 27th day
