Detailed Itinerary
Arrival at Delhi and proceed to hotel for an overnight stay on
day 1.
Early morning transfer to airport for flight to Guwahati on the
2nd Day
of the tour. Assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Post lunch indulge
yourself in sightseeing in and around Guwahati. You can take the boat cruise
on Brahmaputra river and spot river dolphin in the water. Night halt at
Guwahati. After the early breakfast in the hotel on the
3rd day
drive to Bomdila (350 km). Adventure seekers can go for Trekking as well as
for hiking at this place. You can also take the nature walk around the
Buddhists monasteries and apple orchards. Tourists can enjoy the traditional
Tibetan food like momos and thoopa and can shop for the traditional crafts
items. On the way visit Tipi, which is said to be the Asia's second largest
orchid's sanctuary. Overnight in hotel.
On the
4th day of tour you will set foot at Tawang ( 190 km), the
land of Monpa tribes. It is the hidden paradise with countless monasteries,
several lakes, waterfalls and hot water springs. You can attain prayer at
Tawang Monasteries and go for picnic around these places. The area around
Tawang is quite suitable for trekking. The best way to enjoy Tawang is to
walk around the town. On the way to Tawang is the world's second highest
pass – the Sela Pass which is the ideal place for ice- skating, camping
and trekking. Overnight in tourists lodge. On the
5th full day also
you will be in Tawang busy in visiting 300 years old monastery (locally
called Gompa) which is considered to be the second largest monastery of the
world. Overnight Tawang. For the whole next day (on
6th day) you
will be in Dirang. Halt, overnight in tourists lodge or tents.
The
7th day of your tour will encircle you
with the completely different world on the visit to the famous Nameri
National Park. Check into eco camps. Elephant safari is the best way to move
inside the Park. You can also explore the park on boat. Engage yourself in
birding and angling along side the Bhorelli river. Trekking, rafting and
photo safari are the other adventure activities which you can enjoy here.
Overnight in Nameri. When your jungle encounter will be over we will move
towards Itanagar on the
8th day of the tour. After lunch make a
visit to the popular State Museum. You can go for picnic around Ganaga Lake
in the evening. Visitors can shop for shawls, coats, sashes, carpets, bags
and other handicrafts items from here. The next destination awaiting for you
is Ziro, one of the most beautiful hill stations of Arunachal Pradesh. You
will be staying here for two days (
9th and 10th day) of the tour.
Kile Pakho, Midey, Ziro putu, Dolo MandoPaapu, Hapoli are some of the
sightseeing places in and around Ziro. After the full day excursion you can
enjoy local traditional cultural programmes and enchant with the local folks
there. After early breakfast on the
11th day drive towards the
Daporijo , enroute visit Hill Miri Tribal villages. Post lunch visit Tagin
Tribal villages. Overnight in Circuit House or Tents.
On
the
12th day of your tour you will be at Along (160 km). Post lunch
visit Adi (Galong) Tribal villages. Overnight in Circuit House or Tents.
Drive towards Dibrugarh, situated on the banks of Brahmaputra river on the
13th day. Enroute visit Adi Tribal villages. Overnight in Hotel. On
the
14th day you will be transferred to airport for flight to Delhi
in the morning. Overnight in hotel in Delhi. After breakfast on the last day
leave for full day city tour visiting Qutub Minar, India gate (war
memorial), Lakshminarayan Temple - modern Hindu temple, drive past
President's House, Parliament House & Secretariat Building. Afternoon
sight-seeing of Old Delhi visit Rajghat & Shanti Vana (the cremation
sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru), Jama Masjid and drive past
Red fort and Chandni Chowk. Await transfer to international airport for
flight to onward destination.
