Detailed Itinerary
On arrival at Calcutta, our representative will escort you to the Hotel. After the traditional Indian welcome at the reception check in and relax during the night. Your full 2nd day of the tour is reserved for sightseeing in Calcutta. Victoria Memorial, Indian Museum, Eden Garden, Maidan and Fort William, Ochterlony Monuments, St. Paul Cathedral are some of the worth visiting places in Calcutta. Halt, Overnight in Hotel. On the next day (3rd day) you will be directed to catch a domestic flight to Guwahati, check into the luxury hotel booked for you in advance. In the evening visit the famous Kamakhya temple, which provides the fabulous view of the city and of mighty Brahmaputra river. After paying homage to the Goddess Kamakhya, return back to the hotel for the overnight stay.

The next three days (4th ,5th and 6th day) you will be dwelling at Shillong and enjoying its unique beauty. You will love to picnic around the exotic waterfalls such as Elephanta Falls, Sweet Fall. Beadon Falls and Gunner's fall. State Museum, Ward Lake, Botanical Gardens, Lady Hydari, Mmini Zoo are some of the main attractions of Shillong. While in Shillong you can shop for hand woven shawls, orange flower honey, woven baskets of all sizes, cane work and other handicrafts items. Trekking, camping, biking, golfing, boating and caving are some of the adventure activities which tourists can enjoy here. As you finish the three full day rest and excursion at Shillong, you will drive towards the Cherapunji on the 7th day of the tour. Indulge yourself in the nature walk around the Khasi monoliths and Mawsmai falls during the day time. On the return journey visit the Limestone caves. Overnight at hotel.

After you have got bewitched with beauty of the Shillong and Cherrapunji, you will leave for Kaziranga in the morning hours of the next day. You are scheduled to spend next three days (i.e. 8th,9th and 10th day) of the tour at the Kaziranga National Park. Take the thrilling jeep safari to explore the Park. Spot One Horned Rhinos commonly found in the park while taking the safari. While roaming in the park you will have several opportunities to spot and film the wilds of the jungle. The most entertaining thing in the park is to take the bumpy ride on the back of the elephant. You can hire the guides who can help you see the hidden places in the Park. Kaziranga is the bird's paradise, so donot forget to carry the binoculars to witness the rare species of birds that are found here. Tourists can also make a visit to the nearby Tea Gardens and enchant with the Kabri people on the visit to the nearby villages. After the overnight stay at the wildlife resort in Kaziranga, you will be driving for Guwahati on the 11th day of the tour. On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. In the evening take the nature walk in and around Guwahati. Overnight stay at the hotel.

On the 12th day you will be transferred to the airport to catch the flight back for Calcutta. Halt, overnight in the hotel. 13th day is the last day of the tour when you will be transferred to international airport to catch the flight to the onward destination.
