Detailed Itinerary
On
day 1, you arrive at the Kokapriya Gopinath Bordoi International
Airport of LGB Airport of Guwahati, which is marked by a grand welcome by
our staff. Then we take you to the Nilachal Hill for a view of the city
skyline and to visit the popular Kamakhya temple of Assam, which is a sacred
site. At noon, we get on the cruise for a luxurious stay and delicious
cuisines. You are introduced to the crew and informed about the whole tour.
On the
second day, we sail across Mayong, a village known for its
tribal areas and villages preserving the traditions of the north-east.
Day 3 is spent walking down the Pobitora
Wildlife Sanctuary to enjoy a jungle stay, elephant and jeep safaris amidst
the amazing variety of wildlife of the sanctuary. We then take you to a
village of Mayong to interact with the locals and to appreciate their
culture and lifestyles. Then, we move to the museum of Mayong where you can
gather information about the mystical books written on black magic.
Post-sightseeing, we embark the vessel for a lavish lunch and recreation
facilities available on board. After lunch, you will be delighted to visit a
serene island near Chutiyagaon.
The morning of
day 4 starts with the scintillating view of the
golden sunrise from Sun Deck before the morning buffet, as you cruise down
the green valleys and blue hills. The cruise than takes you to a romantic
island near Singri to have a delectable dinner on the island and a relaxing
night on the cruise. On the
fifth day, we slowly sail down to the
town of Tezpur, where the archaeological extravaganza awaits you. The
historical remnants present a remarkable view of the Da-Parbatia temple,
Bamuni Hills, Mahabhairav Temple, Cole Park and Agnigarh. After maneuvering
in the past, get set to enjoy the thrills of spending a night at a nearby
island. Voila!
On
day 6, we sail across the Kalia Bhumura bridge over the
Brahmaputra river and head towards our next destination which is Silghat On
the
seventh day, the tour resumes with a hot cup of tea on the
cruise that is embarking towards the Kaziranga National Park enclosing
numerous adventurous thrills within its periphery. The day continues with
elephant and jeep safaris, observing the natural endowments, after which we
get back to the vessel for a farewell lunch before driving back to Guwahati
for an overnight stay.
On the
eighth day, we take you back to the airport for departure.
Tourists information
The tour package includes the cost of cruise, lodging, sightseeing,
transportation, guide and meals. Any additional cost has to be borne by the
traveler.
