Detailed Itinerary
The tour open its arms as you land at Guwahati on the 1st day of your tour
in the morning. After checking into the hotel you will be taking a sight
seeing tour of the city. Seeing the Guwahati Zoo, popular Kamakhya temple,
Navagraha temple, Hajo and Basistha will definitely make your journey a
memorable one. Spend overnight at your hotel in Guwahati. The next move
after Guwahati you will be making toward the Itanagar on the
2nd day
of the tour. After the long10 hours drive, check in at the hotel booked
for you in advance. Enjoy dinner and cultural programs. Overnight stay at
the hotel in Itanagar.
Today morning (
3rd day) after breakfast we would be visiting the
Jawaharlal Nehru State Museum, Ita Fort and The Buddhist Temple in Itanagar.
All those adventure lovers can go for trekking at the Bomdila- Tawang area
and river rafting at Siang. After lunch you can for fishing and birding at
the Paschin Lake. While in Itanagar you can shop for Carpets, shawls,
sarongs, woodcarvings, cups and fruit bowls made of local Monpa wood,
beautiful ornaments and many other handicrafts items. Halt at Itanagar. You
are scheduled to spend next two days (
4thday and 5th day) of the
tour at Zero, a small town in Arunachal Pradesh. Make a visit to the nearby
villages and witness the zoom cultivation and the art of hunting by the
villagers. If you are seeking for some adventure activities you can go for
trekking and hiking in this region. Engage yourself in enchanting with the
tribal people (Nishi tribe) and learn about their culture and lifestyle. One
may collect hat made of cane or bamboo and many other items as souvenirs
from here. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
For the whole next day (
6th day) you will
be busy in visiting the attractions in and around Daporizo. On the way we
shall visit beautiful villages like Raga and Godak of the Miri Tribes, who
are famous for their hunting skills. In the evening you will be entertained
by the dance and other cultural programs by the Miri tribes. Overnight at
the tourists lodge. On the
7th day explore the Shiva Cave in the
morning hours and hike to the village Nayam. On the way to lodge, we will
visit most spectacular and thrilling hanging rope bridge. Overnight halt.
After breakfast proceed towards the Along on the
8th day of the
tour. Visit the Ramakrishna Ashram and Hanging bridge in the afternoon. Go
for trekking, hiking and angling at the river Siyom. It is also the ideal
location for picnic and rafting. Overnight at circuit house. Leave for
Passighat in the morning hours of the next day (
9th day) of the
tour. Visit museum and cultural centre. Afternoon cross the Brahmaputra by
Ferry to arrive the village Rani and Adi Tribes who will present a cultural
programme in the evening. Night halt in circuit house / tourist lodge. Make
a visit to the Assam on the next day 10th day and engage in adventure
activities like river rafting, cruising, angling and biking.
Exploration
of Indian Wildlife starts on the 11th day, when you will be driving to
Kaziranga. Enjoy the elephant/ jeep/ photo safari in the park. Engage
yourself in Birding and wild exploration at the Park. Overnight at hotel
Wild Grass. You will be spending one more day (12th day) at Kaziranga.
Venture through the lush Tea Gardens and enchant with the Kabri people to
know about their culture and lifestyle. Night halt. 13th day will be the
last day of your tour, proceed to Guwahati airport for the departure.
