Detailed Itinerary
Arrive Delhi /Calcutta on the
1st day and transfer to the hotel for
the overnight stay. On the
2nd day you will be reaching the domestic
airport to board the flight for Guwahati. On arrival, you will be met by our
representative and thereafter we will drive to Tezpur. Arrive Tezpur and
check out into the Hotel for the Overnight stay.
After breakfast on the
3rd day drive to Itanagar, the capital of
Arunachal Pradesh. Halt, afternoon you will be discovering all the important
and popular destinations of Itanagar like Ita Fort, The Buddhists Temple,
Jawaharal Nehru State Museum and many more. Spend the evening in the hotel.
You will be spending one more day
4th day in Itanagar. Morning visit
to the Nishi tribal villages. Their culture and lifestyle would inspire you
to know more about them. On the village visit shop for the wood carvings,
traditional musical instruments, gorgeous textiles, bamboo and cane work,
shawl, jewelery and sarongs. After shopping drive towards the Ganga Lake and
try out boating and angling. Overnight at Hotel.
Some more excitement is on the cards as you make a visit to the Apatani
tribal villages at Zero on the
5th day. Witness fish cultivation and
the designing of beautiful handlooms and handicrafts by the local villagers.
In the evening enjoy the meal and beer along with the villagers. Daporijo is
the next destination awaiting for you. You will be spending two days (
6th
day and 7th day) of your tour at this place. After breakfast make a
visit to the Hillmiri and Tagin tribal villages. Enchant with the local folk
to know more about tribal culture and tradition. Try out their traditional
dresses on yourself. Womens with massive buns, turban wearing mens and
womens nose- pins will definitely fascinate you.
You are scheduled to stay at Along for the next two days (
8th day and
9th day)of the tour. Enroute visit Adi (Gallong) tribal villages at
Kabu, Kayin and Jirdin. Discover the houses made of bamboo and cane. Learn
the art of haunting ans cane weaving from the villagers. Wander around the
village, meet the locals and experience their daily life. After exploring
the tribal villages at Along move toward the Pasighat on the
10th day
of the tour. Enroute visit Adi tribal villages. We have arranged water
sports for you. Enjoy river rafting and wind surfing at river Siang. From
Pasighat drive to Dibrugarh on the
11th day. Indulge in full day
sightseeing in and around Dibrugarh. Store all these moments in your camera.
Enjoy the cultural programs by the local villagers in the evening. On the
12th day you are transferred to the Dibrugarh airport for Delhi/ Calcutta.
